Volcano Choir at Turner Hall
Ever since performance footage of Volcano Choir’s brief tour of Japan surfaced online last fall, we’ve been salivating for a local performance by the powerhouse matchup of Justin Vernon and Collections Of Colonies Of Bees. At the time, keyboardist Thomas Wincek told us that stateside VC shows were a possibility, and now he’s followed through: Volcano Choir performs March 26 at Turner Hall, the venue announced this morning. Tickets go on sale at noon Friday for $14. The A.V. Club is sponsoring the show, so stay tuned in the weeks ahead for more information.
