Wienermobile penetrates Wisconsin home

No related

In a turn of events that can only be described as "ripe with innuendo," the world-famous Oscar Mayer Wienermobile crashed into a house in Mount Pleasant, Wis., south of Milwaukee, last Friday. According to an official Oscar Mayer Hotdogger blog entry, excellently titled “Franks For Your Concern,” the driver was attempting to turn the Wienermobile around using the house’s driveway when he or she unintentionally penetrated a garage.

Officials for the company said that no one was home at the time and the driver was not injured. But it’s clear from the Associated Press' photo that the home was completely violated. The wiener’s insurance is covering the damages to the house, but it’s safe to say that that home will never be the same again. (Hat tip to Dane101's Twitter feed for passing the story along.)

UPDATE (12:10 p.m.): Oscar Mayer spokesperson Sydney Lindner informs Decider in an email that the driver was using protection (OK, Lindner's actual words were "wearing a seatbelt") and that "We expect to be back on the hot dog highways spreading miles of smiles in no time."
