'80s Vs. '90s: Michael Jackson Edition at Majestic Theatre
At least one good thing has come from the death of Michael Jackson: It's gotten all manner of music fans talking to each other and finding some common ground they might not have noticed before. This edition of the Majestic's '80s Vs. '90s night bets that the conversation will continue onto the dance floor on what would've been Jackson's 51st birthday. Local DJs Nick Nice and Mike Carlson will dig into Jackson's mountain of hits—including stuff from the '70s and the Jackson 5 days, so the "'80s Vs. '90s" moniker doesn't mean they'll overlook "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" and so on. Naturally, the night will also be decked out with music videos, a costume contest, and a moonwalk competition.
