The Arge, The Pointy Birds, and The Apologists at Mickey's Tavern
A bunch of Madison's East Side music scenesters join up here to help one of their friends with some medical costs and share one of their newer bands. At this benefit for Madison's John Sarris, The Arge continue to offer up some pretty awesome drunks-on-stoners grunge jams. The relatively new band The Pointy Birds features Killdozer drummer Dan Hobson and singer-guitarists Julia Ziemer and Alex Forntey. The Apologists round out the bill with a set of country-meets-garage-rock revelry.
