The Art Of Love And Hate at Inferno
The Valentine's Day weekend doesn't have to get off to a mushy start, thanks to a new local art collective, Secret Ingredient Arts, and its multimedia dissection of the feelings this holiday stirs up whether we like it or not. Secret Ingredients pulls together designers and screenprinters from Madison's defunct Firecracker Studios group with a variety of photographers, sculptors, installation artists, and performance artists, which pretty much guarantees a chaotic visual mix. And that's just the music: The evening also boasts performances from Milwaukee synth-pop slashers Terrior Bute, veteran Madison DJ Al Ritchie, and more.
