Band From TV at Alliant Energy Center
Not unlike the author "supergroup" The Rock Bottom Remainders (which has featured Dave Barry and Amy Tan, among others), Band From TV comprises people famous for non-musical reasons knocking covers around for the sake of charity. At this benefit for the Epilepsy Foundation Of Southern Wisconsin, the band will include Greg Grunberg from Heroes on drums; James Denton from Desperate Housewives on guitar, Jesse Spencer from House on violin; Adrian Pasdar from Heroes on guitar; and Bob Guiney of The Bachelor on vocals. Sadly, it appears that sometimes-keyboardist and House star Hugh Laurie isn't on board for this date, but the band has promised some surprise guest stars.
