BoDeans' chief pop-culture legacy may be their theme song for Party Of Five, but they’re a roots-rock institution in their native Wisconsin, still making white people dance awkwardly at county fairs from Racine to Superior. It’s joked that if you’re born in Wisconsin, it is required by law that you see BoDeans at least three times by age 18. The band has only released two new studio discs this decade, 2004's Resolution and 2008's Still (plus assorted live albums and compilations), but a new album should be out early in 2010. Most recently, BoDeans re-released their 1986 debut Love & Hope & Sex & Dreams with extras including a DVD of an hour-long 1985 show.
