If you're the kind of person who'll only enter the bland confines of The Brink Lounge if free cake is offered, local gypsy-jazz band Caravan Gypsy Swing Ensemble's CD-release show is here to liven the place up considerably. Not only will CGSE celebrate a live album recorded in this spot, entitled An Evening At The Brink, the show will also mark the 100th birthday of Django Reinhardt. The night will be complete with birthday cake and lead guitarist Chris Ruppenthal and band mixing the style Reinhardt pioneered with Latin melodies and bubbly Parisian romance.
