The High Noon and Dane101.com's Halloween shows are becoming a bit of a tradition, and one more suited to the holiday than Freakfest: Local musicians form mostly one-off tribute bands to their favorite acts, with results ranging from note-perfect to schlocky. This year, the night of covers expands to two, kicking off with singer-songwriter John Statz's set of acoustic Neil Young tunes; a Zeppelin tribute featuring members of Helliphant; Sean Michael Dargan as Elvis Costello; REM covers from members of Tangy and Digibot; and ever-present disco cover act VO5.
