Distinguished Lecture Series: Post-Racial Comedy Tour at Memorial Union
Say what you want about the ubiquity of one-note blogs-turned-books, but at least Christian Lander’s Stuff White People Like was inspired with more than an air of social commentary. And say what you want about one-note blog writers still riding their ideas years after they've been ground into silt, but at least Christian Lander has now teamed with comedian and “This Week In Blackness” web-series creator Elon James White to provide some balance and new material for the joint Post-Racial Comedy Tour. Lander and White will explore the effects the election of Barack Obama has had on issues of race, culture ownership, and class. They’ll also talk about their blogs.
