After releasing two well-received albums on independent label Polyvinyl Recording Co., 2003’s City Of Festivals and 2005’s Sing Out America!, Milwaukee’s Decibully seemed on the verge of bigger and better things with its follow-up, the yet-to-be-released World Travels Fast. But now that the band has severed ties with Polyvinyl, the record is currently without a home. While Decibully’s meticulously assembled indie-pop songs are best experienced on headphones, the only way to hear World Travels Fast for the time being is at milwaukee.avclub.com or live and onstage, where the band usually brings the goods.
