Drawing its dozen-strong membership from such points of origin as Puerto Rico, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, and the plain ol' US of A, Madison's Grupo Candela naturally has the makings of a multi-faceted Latin dance party. And that's pretty much what you should expect on the Terrace tonight: a feisty, festive mix of salsa, merengue, and bachata sounds channeled through the ensemble's horn section and snappy hand-drum rhythms.
