This dance party not only aims to re-create the feel of a rave in a warehouse in the early '90s, it also has a wacky sci-fi narrative behind it. Attendees are to believe that it's the year 2050, there's been a huge plague and a government crackdown, and they're survivors dancing to the death in an abandoned warehouse that happens to contain turntables and vinyl from the '90s. So, it's like Edgar Allan Poe's "The Masque Of The Red Death," but with more Ecstasy? Okay, even if the fantasy's lost on you, the mix will be a good bet, what with the ever-reliable Madison DJs Nick Nice and Mike Carlson on hand, along with Chicago DJ Brad Owen.
