Remain In Night: Moksha, Tinhead, Kirk Leinenkugel, Prognition, Pat Fait at High Noon Saloon
The High Noon transforms into a dance club of sorts for a showcase of Midwestern DJs and electronic music that's named (mysteriously) in a nod to the Talking Heads album Remain In Light. Techno-rooted DJ Moksha headlines with what should prove a trippy, eclectic mix. A local DJ named Tinhead incorporates some of the spacey, slinky flavors of dubstep, including in remixes of such songs as "Paper Planes" and "Young Folks." Three more DJ-producers on the bill—Kirk Leinenkugel, Prognition, and Pat Fait—get the evening started with a blend of beats ranging from house to funk to disco.
