SpareTime Bluegrass Band at The Frequency
It’s not all that unusual for a well-adjusted group of people to keep a bluegrass band going for as long as the members of SpareTime Bluegrass have. But the level of consistency the band has maintained over the course of many live recordings and albums (like 2010’s Someone To Love) is something to be admired nonetheless. The group’s reliability in plying its age-old music fits nicely with the courteous way each member stands back to make room for fellow bandmate to step up and just shred on the fiddle, banjo, or mandolin like on Bill Monroe’s “Road To Columbus.”
