Alchemy occupies the space vacated by the popular Wonder’s Pub, and while the vibe is now a little bit crunchier, there’s no drop-off in quality. The new menu is filled with locally grown and produced items, and sandwiches like the BLFT (BLT with pan-fried cornmeal crusted tomatoes and house-made thyme-garlic mayo) and apple-rum burger are delicious interpretations of longstanding favorites. Everything looks and tastes fresh, and the veggie plate appetizer is worth ordering simply for the opportunity to taste the cilantro-pesto dip that accompanies it.
