You’ll find Ale Asylum in an industrial park, and the locale most definitely fits—Ale Asylum is all business. It’s a brewpub with no TVs, so patrons have little choice but to focus on its rotating offering of skillfully crafted beers. Many are not for the JV drinker (see: the 10-percent alcohol Tripel Nova Belgian), but all are the perfect companion to the homemade pizzas and build-your-own sandwiches. The sandwiches and pizzas are both served up with top-grade Wisconsin meats and cheeses, so if it’s a hearty beer and snack you crave, it’ll be tough to leave disappointed.
