The Bayou aims for the feeling of a French Quarter courtyard with its iron balconies, flickering fiber-optic stars, garish murals, and patio furniture-like seating. Sandwiches comprise the bulk of the menu with options like muffaletta, fried oyster, grilled eggplant and squash, and fried catfish, all served on crusty French bread flown in daily from Ledenheimer bakery in New Orleans. A raw oyster bar, fried seafood platters, and the fresh catch of the day round out the menu.
