Grabbing a sandwich to go from Electric Earth is like letting somebody else’s mother pack your lunch, but in a fun way. That BLT or chicken-salad sandwich will be thick and fresh, and you’ll usually get a side of pasta salad in the bag. That said, Electric Earth’s rich coffee blends and soft couches make it ideal for lounging. The menu features a full selection of coffeehouse-style beverages, as well as dishes that combine down-to-earth delicacies such as fresh mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, meats, and cheeses into tasty sandwiches. The newer location on Randall Avenue boasts Chocolate Shoppe ice cream, while the original Electric Earth on West Washington occasionally hosts live music and the Atlas Improv Company troupe on weekends.
