Madison’s favorite gay bar, the Shamrock, is cool for everyone. Although the food is traditional deep-fried and grilled bar fare, it complements the vibe just fine. If you didn’t already know, the Shamrock actually does a basic brunch, too (in case you spent too much time there the night before). The Shamrock breakfast sandwich is plenty filling—two eggs, a choice of meat, and cheese between two English muffins. Sunday brunch gets classed up with the addition of pancakes, eggs benedict, and French toast.
