Even the biggest Brett Favre apologist in the world has to like Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who has remained remarkably calm and classy as his predecessor has grown more bitter and desperate for attention. Behind the scenes it appears that Rodgers is finally starting to enjoy the considerable spoils of being an NFL QB—the New York Post’s Page 6 reported earlier this week that he was recently seen “cozying up” with Sports Illustrated model Julie Henderson over dinner in New York City. And here we thought Ryan Braun was Wisconsin’s No. 1 lady-killing athlete. Time to step your game up, Braun.
The Post reports that Henderson has “rebounded” with Rodgers after dating Def Jam Records co-founder Russell Simmons. But if anyone knows how to pick up the torch from an aging legend, it’s No. 12.
UPDATE: In a podcast posted on 540 ESPN Milwaukee's website, Jason Wilde reports that Rodgers has denied being with Henderson at the restaurant, which makes him really honest and kind of stupid.
