Bill Theisen back as artistic director at Skylight
His dismissal created a firestorm this summer
All’s well that ends well at Skylight Opera Theatre, which has welcomed back artistic director Bill Theisen after his dismissal this summer created a local art-scene catfight to end all local art-scene catfights. The Journal Sentinel reports that Theisen will be back until at least June 30, 2011, and will look after productions and direct shows, including four this season and up to two shows in ’10-’11. He has agreed to come back aboard as artistic director for no additional money this season.
