Psych-rock legends The Brian Jonestown Massacre played forever last March; in fact, Anton Newcombe is probably still banging away on a vintage sitar in some far off corner of Turner Hall. While BJM tested The A.V. Club’s patience at times, the band sounded incredible for about the first 90 minutes—plus it was great to see Newcombe’s prodigal foil Matt Hollywood back in the fold. So, we’re excited to see that the Massacre will be back at Turner Hall May 29 for a show in support of its forthcoming (and awesomely titled) new album Who Killed Sgt. Pepper? Tickets are $18 and go on sale at noon Friday at the Pabst and Riverside box offices.
