Canceled King Sunny Ade show won't be rescheduled

The A.V. Club was saddened earlier this week when we heard that Thursday’s King Sunny Ade concert at Turner Hall was canceled after two members of his band, Gabriel Ayanniyi and Omo Olope, were killed in a car accident March 26. Ade plans to pick up the tour in Chicago on Friday, but now it looks like the Milwaukee date will not be made up, according to Pabst Foundation spokesman Ryan Matteson. (UPDATE: The Chicago show has been canceled, as have dates in Minneapolis and Nebraska.) Refunds can be obtained at the point of purchase and online sales will be refunded automatically. Here’s a taste of what we’ll be missing.
