Milwaukee is the sort of city that demands a special kind of love and dedication—after all, if you’re not head over heels with every quirk and foible the city has to offer, why on Earth would you still be here? (Wait, don’t answer that.) A new website called Milwaukier Than Thou (props on the name) aims to strengthen that love by bringing together pictures of all the things we love about our city under one gorgeous, usually Instagram-ed roof. The Tumblr site implores its users to “share the visual wealth of your Milwaukee,” and it appears they’ve done just that. Photos of the Hoan Bridge, Cathedral Square, and American Science & Surplus abound, as do galleries from Milwaukee artists like Ashley Morgan. You can even submit your own photos—old or new, and with our without the “Sierra” filter—here.
