Excitement is building in indie rock circles about Volcano Choir, the new collaboration between Justin Vernon of Bon Iver and Milwaukee band Collections Of Colonies Of Bees. The group’s debut Unmap comes out Sept. 22, but label Jagjaguwar is offering up a stream of “Island, IS,” an intoxicating little number that sounds, well, like the product of Vernon and the CoCoBees guys working together.
