If there’s one holiday custom-built for anonymous, online declarations of love, it’s Halloween. The costumes, the booze, and the early-autumn frivolity all combine to create of perfect storm of unrequited lust. Oh, and everyone is dressed as sexy dinosaurs or whatever. So without further ado, we present just a few of the weekend’s many, many Halloween-themed Missed Connections. (Featuring a rare w4m!)

Dear Batman,
We first met at the House of Guinness in Waukesha. You, tall and bat-like. Me, tall and mushroom-like. We shared a high-five. My friends and I ended up taking the party to Denny’s. As I walked in the door 2 trashy girls looked right at me and laughed, then hid their heads in disgust. It’s not my fault I was the only one in costume at Denny’s. Now to the reason I write this. All of a sudden you and Robin appeared. We shared in another high-five. You saved the night, I didn’t feel so out of place. Batman you ARE my hero. Oh yeah, don’t worry Mario couldn’t catch me....
