Milwaukee/Madison group Surgeons In Heat recently embraced this alternative “crowdfunding” site and are hoping to raise $1,250 to press their debut EP onto 10-inch vinyl. The usual assortment of goodies are available—digital downloads, T-shirts, vinyl test pressings—as well as that warm feeling you get whenever you help out yet another deserving local band.
