Hey, we’re co-sponsoring this year’s Cascio Interstate Groove Stage at Summerfest
More Just Announced

- You know what, Stuart? The Dead Milkmen are playing Shank Hall June 6

- Summerfest (and Lewis Black) confirm Avett Brothers, LL Cool J, MGMT, more for 2013 Big Gig
Let’s just come out and say it: This year’s Summerfest lineup is shaping up to be one of the best in recent memory. Between Marcus Amphitheater headliners like Kanye West and free outdoor-stage headliners like The Flaming Lips, Summerfest 2011 has all the makings of a picnic-table-dancing classic. So The A.V. Club couldn’t be more pleased as punch to join WMSE in sponsoring this year’s Cascio Interstate Music Groove Stage.
Once again, the stage will be largely devoted to some of the best local acts our fair city has to offer. Here’s a complete list of the 9:00 p.m. headliners:
Wednesday, June 29: The Right Now
Thursday, June 30: The Jeanna Salzer Band
Friday, July 1: I’m Not A Pilot
Saturday, July 2: The Invaders
Sunday, July 3: The Uptown Savages
Tuesday, July 5: The Fatty Acids
Wednesday, July 6: Brighton, MA
Thursday, July 7: Mark Mallman
Friday, July 8: John The Savage
Saturday, July 9: Into Arcadia
Sunday, July 10: Surgeons In Heat
A few of the other notable acts playing the stage include Elusive Parallelograms, Testa Rosa, Faux Fir, Group Of The Altos, and Canyons Of Static.
