Iron & Wine at the Pabst Theater
It's too early in the morning to make a beard joke.
More Just Announced
Much like Bonnie “Prince” Billy, singer-songwriter Sam Beam, a.k.a. Iron & Wine, gets cloaked in a lot of backwoods folk-rock mystery. Much of that is because both artists create hushed, cinematic-sounding songs that feel like they’ve grown straight out of the earth. Also, both singers have massive beards. At any rate, Iron & Wine is one of the defining artists of contemporary indie-folk, which should make his Oct. 13 show at Pabst Theater a hot ticket when it goes on sale at noon Friday for $25.
