Jerry Seinfeld at Riverside Theater
The legendary stand-up comic comes to town Nov. 6
More Just Announced
Over the past couple of years, Jerry Seinfeld has dressed up like a giant honeybee, bombarded us with promotions for Bee Movie, coined a term more irritating than “webisode” (“TV junior”), and consumed a spinach brownie on Oprah so his wife could sell cookbooks. In other words: He has a lot of comedy goodwill to win back, which he’ll hopefully do when he performs Nov. 6 at Riverside Theater, according to Pollstar. Fortunately, if anyone can remind the public that he’s a very funny stand-up, it’s Seinfeld, the guy largely responsible for the casual, observational joke-telling style that most people now think of when they think “stand-up comedy.” Since we don’t have ticket information—the venue hasn’t formally announced the show yet—we hope this clip of classic Seinfeld shtick tides you over.
UPDATE: Seinfeld will perform two shows at 7 and 9:30 p.m. Nov. 6. Tickets are $49, $64, and $79, and go on sale at noon Aug. 21.
