Saturday’s news that Brewers slugger/National League MVP/gift from the baseball gods Ryan Bruan had tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs was the very definition of “shocking” and “devastating.” And though the story is far from over—Braun claims he’s innocent, and a second test may or may not vindicate him—it hasn’t stopped the baying jackals of the Internet from losing their collective shit and tweeting some version of “Say it ain’t so, Brauny” every 30 minutes.
Now, thanks to a Tumblr page called My Baby Is Average, you can keep track of the myriad of online reactions to Braun’s woes with the Ryan Braun PED Bingo card. From “Obligatory Jose Reyes batting title joke” to “Ominously declaring no one has ever won an appeal,” the card has nearly every pro- and anti-Braun sentiment that has surfaced since Saturday, as well as a free middle space for general puns. Print out a copy today, and mark off squares for The A.V. Club as, “We don’t have all the facts yet. Let’s not jump to conclusions.” (Also: “Those eyes!”)
