Kevin Smith at Pabst Theater
The writer-director-raconteur comes to town March 12
More Just Announced
Kevin Smith has made a lot of different stuff in his day. His films—Clerks, Mallrats, and Zack And Miri Make A Porno, among many others—make up a large part of the slacker canon. He's written comic books for both DC and Marvel, and named his daughter Harley Quinn, after the Batman villain. His weekly podcast—the SModcast—is a web sensation. And that’s not even covering his Twitter, his New Jersey comic book shop, and his two books of essays, among other sundry pursuits. All of which is to say that Kevin Smith has a lot to talk about, which bodes well for an event that’s pretty much just him, a questioner, and a microphone. Smith is set to appear March 12 at Pabst Theater for a self-described "stand-up comedy/question and answer engagement." Tickets are $39.50 and $59.50 and go on sale at noon Friday at the Pabst and Riverside box offices.
