Kings Go Forth to release debut full-length, play Turner Hall next month

Last July, Milwaukee soul masters Kings Go Forth played what was billed as an album release show at Turner Hall. Only there was no album to release, and there wouldn’t be for some time. Now, it appears that KGF is finally ready to drop a full-length joint: The 10-song The Outsiders Are Back will be released April 20 on Luaka Bop, and will no doubt be helped greatly from recent positive press from Pitchfork and NPR. The band celebrates the release here in town with a show April 30 at Turner Hall. Tickets are $10 and go on sale at noon Friday.
