Langhorne Slim is everywhere today
The acclaimed folkie stops by several local radio stations and record shops
Anyone who has ever seen rootsy indie rocker Langhorne Slim live knows that the man brings Springsteen-level energy to the stage—apparently whether he’s playing a previously announced gig or just swinging through town. Slim has been all over the place today, stopping by WMSE this morning for an acoustic performance and Radio Milwaukee for an on-air set that should be broadcast at around 3:30 p.m. If that’s not enough for you, he’ll also be at the Exclusive Co. on Farwell for a free show tonight at 6:30 p.m. Slim is coming through Milwaukee to spread the word about his new record, Be Set Free, due out next week. His official tour in support of the album starts next month and hits Madison’s High Noon Saloon Oct. 24—so you should definitely see him today if you don’t feel like driving west.
