LCD Soundsystem and Hot Chip at The Rave/Eagles Ballroom

Details are sketchy at the moment, but it appears that dance-happy indie kids have just been handed their show of the year: LCD Soundsystem and Hot Chip will team up for a concert Oct. 22 at The Rave/Eagles Club, according to 102.1 FM's Indie Soundcheck Twitter page. Details, including ticket price, haven't been announced yet, though that will likely be coming later today. (UPDATE: Tickets are $27 and $32 and go on sale at 10 a.m. July 31 through Ticketmaster.) Head LCDer James Murphy has been hinting that this could be the last major tour he ever does with the band, so fans that didn't catch the group's well-received performance at Pitchfork will want to line up early for this one.
