Marilyn Manson decides it’s time to do his thing again, announces first U.S. tour since 2009
It’s hard to remember a time when hard-working shock rocker Marilyn Manson was, well, shocking. Maybe that’s because Manson hasn’t toured the U.S. since 2009, leaving the job of outraging the easily outraged in the capable hands (and middle fingers) of Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, and M.I.A. But all of that is set to change this spring, when Manson and company take to the road in advance of a new album, Born Villain. The record is being described as “suicide death metal,” which sounds positively wholesome compared to whatever the hell that Karmin thing was on Saturday Night Live last week. The times they are a-changin’.
