Of all the movies that screened at this year's Milwaukee Film Festival, the most confounding might have been Frankie Latina’s love-it-or-hate-it spy thriller Modus Operandi, which features at least twice as many naked women as discernable plot points. Fortunately, Latina will have the opportunity to blow more minds this week at AFI Fest in Los Angeles, where the film is screening as a midnight movie Friday night. Last year AFI was attended by more than 65,000 people and was covered by more than 600 press outlets, so Modus Operandi won’t be lacking for exposure. Here’s hoping the Hollywood folks enjoy drinking up all that Milwaukee-colored flesh.
