More Just Announced
When we last left the wrestling/burlesque/music extravaganza known as Mondo Lucha, Pezzettino smashed a guitar, some Cub Scouts beat up on a grown man, and a guy in a goat outfit kicked the crap out of everyone. Oh, and some pretty ladies took their clothes off. And while we were slow to warm up to this kitschy, over-the-top spectacle, we were eventually won over, and walked away with a newfound appreciation for men in tights and women in pasties.
But that was back in September 2010. What have you done for us lately, Mondo Lucha? We’re glad we asked: The variety show will return to Milwaukee and Turner Hall Saturday, Oct. 8. Expect plenty of Lucha Libre masked Mexican wrestlers, a smattering of comely burlesque performers, and more than a few surprises. (A Girl Scout troupe vs. the goat dude?)
