New Spoon record due one month after New Year's Eve show in Milwaukee
Transference will drop Jan. 26
When Spoon comes to Riverside Theater for its big New Year’s Eve show with Jay Reatard, one of the most celebrated bands in indie rock will have a new album to preview. Spoon’s first record in three years, Transference, will be released Jan. 26, the band’s label Merge Records announced yesterday. Milwaukee will likely be among the first cities to hear the new songs live, as the band only has two other shows scheduled before the close of the year. Tickets are currently on sale at the Pabst and Riverside box offices. Here’s a track listing:
