HOLIDAY SALE AT THE ONION STORE

Just Announced No Age, Dan Deacon, and Deerhunter at Turner Hall

The indie rock acts will play a special collaborative show Aug. 7

Deerhunter

More Just Announced

If you like indie rock, there’s a good chance you’re a fan of at least one of the bands on the monster No Age-Dan Deacon-Deerhunter triple bill playing Aug. 7 at Turner Hall. But if you end up going to this show, you could become a fan of all three bands playing together. No Age’s Randy Randall recently told Pitchfork that the bands are “looking to really kind of meld together the ideas that currently exist in one band's song, and then augment them, either by having other members play together or adding something new to the song that'll transition to another song. So you'll still hear Deerhunter and Dan Deacon and No Age songs, but they'll be boosted in a way by having other members play in them as well."

Sounds like an awesome show could be even awesomer than we thought. Milwaukee is one of only seven cities the week-long tour will visit—one of the other cities is Madison Aug. 6—so you won’t want to miss this. Ticket information hasn’t been announced yet, but we’ll be sure to post it when we have it.
