Friday night’s show at Turner Hall featuring Nodeachunter—also known as indie rock bands No Age, Dan Deacon, and Deerhunter—went from memorable to funny to scary back to kind of funny, as the groups went from collaborating on stage to doing a “dance off” in the audience area that went horribly awry. According to Pitchfork and A.V. Club contributor Michael Carriere, who was there reviewing the show, No Age guitarist Randy Randall dislocated his shoulder while dancing with Deerhunter’s Bradford Cox to Deacon’s performance. “Randall writhed around in pain while an ambulance was called and the venue was emptied,” reports Pitchfork, which also posted video and photos of the incident. Enjoy! (Fast forward to the three-minute mark if you want to see the fall.)
