NPR streaming Shearwater's The Golden Archipelago for free
Hear the album now before the indie band visits Mad Planet
Since Shearwater just announced a show with Wye Oak April 5 at Mad Planet, we thought we should point you to NPR, which continues to show its appreciation for moody, delicately constructed pop music by offering up a first listen of Shearwater's upcoming The Golden Archipelago. The album will be available in non-streaming, digital form Feb. 16, and physical formats Feb. 23. If you're looking for a piece of the record that you can carry around with you, the ominous stomp of preview track "Black Eyes" is still available for download from Matador.
