Nyjer Morgan throws tobacco at Chris Carpenter, tweets that Albert Pujols is a woman

If you watch the tape closely, you still won’t see or hear Cardinals pitcher Chris Carpenter say anything to Nyjer Morgan after striking him out in the top of the ninth last night in St. Louis. But it seems clear from the video that Morgan yelled, “Fuck you,” and then chucked his tobacco toward the mound last night, causing Albert Pujols to come jogging over.

Though it’s cool that Morgan appeared ready to fist fight a guy three times his size, suspensions at this point of the season could potentially make Ron Roenicke’s head explode. Fortunately, the shouting match didn’t escalate into anything too physical, but it did carry over to Morgan’s Twitter account after the game. Flopping Out has arranged the tweets nicely, which refer to Pujols as a woman named “Alberta,” declare the Cardinals can cry all they want while the Brewers are in the playoffs, and make some sort of weird reference to Ray Charles. It was all extremely entertaining, and now that the season series between the two teams is over, hopefully nothing more comes of it.
