Pezzettino performs for Madison A.V. Club
A woman with an accordion walks into an office ...

For most Milwaukee musicians, self-promotion consists of setting up a MySpace page and posting some flyers at The Exclusive Company. Then there’s Margaret Stutt of Pezzettino, the accordion-slinging singer-songwriter who forever earned the love and respect of Decider by bringing us homemade brownies on two occasions. (For the record, that’s two more batches of brownies than any other Milwaukee musician has ever baked us.) Of course, this has nothing to do with us being fans of her new record Lion—it’s actually quite good and you should buy it now—but the free brownies certainly haven’t made us like her any less.
Not content with charming just one Decider office, Stutt stopped by our Madison branch yesterday for an impromptu performance. Surprisingly, accordion players are a rare sight in Madison, so our peeps to the west were initially stunned by Stutt’s presence. But they still managed to film this performance of “Parasite,” the lead off track from Lion.
