Radio Milwaukee announces this year's Milwaukee Music Awards nominees
The local station hands out some hardware to local artists Feb. 25

In just three short years, Radio Milwaukee’s annual Milwaukee Music Awards has become one of the city’s more prominent honors recognizing local music-makers. (Even if a grouch or two end up whining about who wins.) The station announced the nominees today, and opened up Listeners Choice voting, which runs until Feb. 21. The winners will be announced on the air from 4 to 6 p.m. Feb. 25, with a benefit concert for the station taking place later that day at 8 p.m. at The Whiskey Bar. Artist of the Year: Jaill, Kid Millions, Pezzettino, The Championship
