Milwaukee rapper Raze released his sophomore album, Living In Technicolor, last summer, and has been keeping busy with plenty of local shows and judging the occasional Takeover Freestyle Battle. He’s also been working on some new music of his own—the MC’s newest single, “Off My Rocker,” is a blunt, cheeky, and darkly funny tale of bipolar insanity. (“Off my rocker / off my meds / but definitely on my vodka.”) It’s also a slick, hooky, terrific three minutes of hip-hop.
The self-produced track features a guest verse from The Hollowz’ Logic, and is available now as a free download. Check it out before Raze (along with The Hollowz) helps celebrate the new album from Milwaukee’s Speak Easy, March 19 at the Cactus Club.
