If you spent any time in a college dorm in the late ’90s, there’s a good chance that the name Sean Duffy rings a bell. Duffy was a cast member on The Real World Boston in 1997—and, later, Road Rules: All Stars—and is perhaps best known for his outspoken conservatism, which stuck out on MTV like Sean Hannity at a pride parade. At any rate, Duffy has been living in northern Wisconsin with his wife (and fellow Real World contestant) Rachel Campos, working as the Ashland County DA, and now he’s planning to run for Congress, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. The 37-year-old Duffy will be running against Democrat Dave Obey, who’s held office 40 years, and fellow Republican Dan Mielke.

So, what qualifications does Duffy bring to the table? In addition to his experience as a district attorney and reality show star, he also has a background as a lumberjack and commenter for ESPN’s Great Outdoor Games. Politico is skeptical about his chances, since Obey has a “near-stranglehold” on the district. But have voters ever seen Obey debate policy while sitting in a hot tub with scantily clad 20something alcoholics? On that issue, at least, it's game, set, match for Duffy.
