Report: Ryan Braun opening Third Ward restaurant
MLB.com’s Adam McCalvy reports that Brewers slugger Ryan Braun is putting the final touches on plans to open a restaurant in downtown Milwaukee. Ryan Braun’s Waterfront Grill will be located along the Milwaukee River at 102 N. Water Street, the current location of Fratello’s Waterfront Restaurant, and will open April 5.
The menu will apparently resemble Fratello’s, with seafood, steaks, pasta, and personal pizzas, among other dishes. Private-label wines licensed to Braun will also be available, though if Braun’s wine tastes anything like his Remetee shirts look, you’ll probably be better off sticking with beer.
Ryan Braun’s Waterfront Grill is the second restaurant connected to the two time All-Star. The same investment group has been planning to open Ryan Braun’s Tavern and Grill in Lake Geneva.
