Rush taking Moving Pictures on the road this summer
Following the trend of grizzled classic rockers performing their most successful opuses in their entirety on tour, thoroughly kick-ass Canadian prog-power trio Rush will bring its quadruple platinum 1981 album Moving Pictures to cities throughout the U.S. this summer (including Milwaukee for a Summerfest date July 2). For those not intimately acquainted with the track listings of classic Rush albums, Moving Pictures includes radio staples like “Tom Sawyer” and “Limelight,” as well as the awesome instrumental “YYZ.” Along with Moving Pictures, Rush will also be playing a few new songs from the band’s in-the-works 20th album helmed by producer Nick Raskulinecz, as well as lots of other songs your older brother used to blast while washing his car.
